After an early morning snowstorm on Sunday November 16, 2008 here in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario, Canada I shot this digital camera video of my Australian Shepherd dog - "Lady". She’s almost 12 years old or 84 in dog years but is still very agile and loves to run. She was self-conscious and shy though so she wouldn’t show me her "Wiggle Butt" walk that I described in my last post. (lol).

I have made a new addition to my family of web sites where you can learn all about blogging so that has been keeping me busy while waiting for the snow to arrive.
The leaves are all raked and it’s time to think snow!
As I mentioned in a previous post I am an expert downhill snow skier and always look forward to the upcoming ski season with the anticipation of fun times. I have compiled three snow skiing tease videos on this page.
In the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario Canada we have a small ski resort by the name of Sir Sam’s Ski Area, but my preference for winter skiing activities is Calabogie Peaks, about two and a half hours east of Haliburton village towards Renfrew and Ottawa. At Christmas time though our family usually goes skiing in the Gatineau Hills of Quebec. Our choices there are primarily Camp Fortune, Edelweiss, Vorlage, Mont Cascades, or Mont Ste. Marie.
Here’s a little Tease Skiing Video taken last Christmas 2007 of me and my younger brother skiing down the mountain at Mont Ste. Marie, in the Province of Quebec. I am the one in front and my brother is trailing slightly behind me.

The autumn colours on the trees reached their peak here in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario, Canada last weekend and many of the maple tree leaves have fallen and are piling up by the millions in my driveway.
The following short video, (only 35 seconds), of the leaves in my road way gives an idea of the enormity of my task of raking leaves before the snow falls.

However, The County Voice newspaper ad word placement could be mis-interpreted by readers to go to my main entry page here at Tease Articles, (presently this blog post), rather than to the specific post on this Tease Articles blog as was intended:
To their credit the publishers of The County Voice and The Highlands Communicator, Brett and Joanne Irvine, have agreed to re-run the above ad with the problem fixed free of charge in the next edition of The County Voice Newspaper dated Thursday October 16, 2008.

has some wonderful articles taken from Drew Monkman’s weekly nature columns in The Peterborough Examiner newspaper in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. One such nature article that I particularly enjoy is:
